Gulf Place
Gulf Place is quite possibly one of my favorite areas. Located at the beginning of 30a it has all the amenities of a cute and cozy community, but also close to absolutely everything.
Gulf Place offers easy access to not only the beach but a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options without ever having to get in the car (Because nobody should deal with traffic on vacation!).
RESTAURANTS- Restaurants such as The Perfect Pig, Pizza by the Sea, La Playa and Sunrise Coffee Co, Shelby's, and a crowd favorite, Shunk Gulley are within a short walking distance and is sure to appease any appetite.
SHOPPING-Shopping such as 30A Gear, Coastal Paradise, and Islanders Coastal Outfitter offers all the beach gear and apparel you could need to make the most of your coastal getaway.
ACTIVITIES- Tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, corn hole, and a community green with weekly concerts (Every Sunday June 4th - August 14th, 5 - 8 PM) provides you and your family with enough entertainment to make even the hardest to please smile.
ART- Enjoy an eclectic exhibit of local 30A art in the nearby colorful huts of The Artists at Gulf Place. Most of all enjoy access to three pools (Two seasonally heated from Thanksgiving through Spring), heated spa, and multiple private Gulf Place beach accesses.
GREAT BEACH ACCESS- Gulf Place really has a few beach access spots on 30a. Plenty parking and the beaches aren't overcrowded like some areas of 30a.
CLOSE TO DESTIN, MIRAMAR, SANDESTIN, etc- What's fabulous about GULF PLACE is it's convenience to everything on 30a, but also close to the outlets in Miramar Beach, fun activities in Destin, the Destin Harbor, or the Sandestin / Baytowne Community.
30a Pontoon Rental- We obviously can't forget 30a Pontoon Rental. 30a Pontoon Rental is literally just north of Gulf Place about 3 miles. Maybe less. 30a Pontoon Rental offers Luxury 150 hp tritoons as well as double decker tritoons with water slides. Visit www.30apontoon.com
